Lately I’ve been noticing that Tumblr is almost like a game of who can get the most followers and notes on their posts with almost no thought of what is actually being posted by the blog or by other bloggers. I constantly see stupid pictures that look almost effortless to take with little or no meaning at all but they have hundreds of thousands of notes and endless appreciation while pictures that have been thought out and are really cool have no notes or appreciation. I really don’t care anymore but it just gets frustrating after you work hard on making actuall art and not just Instagram snapshots and people unfollow you by the second after you post just ONE picture that isn’t up to their standards. It’s almost like if your best friend said a bad joke that you didn’t think was funny. Would you defriend that person and put him out of your life just because of one joke? Haha whatever. I just want to take this time to thank all of my loyal followers and anyone who supports thoughtful art. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your support. I love every single one of you. I really mean it.
